Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot 's final DLC has been revealed, and after two episodes dedicated to storylines from the Dragon Ball Super anime series, this latest chapter of content is headed back in time to one of the franchise's classic original video animations. DLC 3 will take place in the future alternate timeline of the Android saga, set 13 years after Goku died from a heart virus and the rest of the anime's best fighters--and Yamcha--were killed by Androids 17 and 18. Only Gohan had survived the carnage, and along with Vegeta's son Trunks, he was preparing to finally destroy the Androids and end the devastation brought about by the duo. The cinematic trailer didn't reveal too much, but if it faithfully follows the storyline of the OVA, then it's best to not get too attached to seeing an adult Gohan battling the Androids while his protégé Trunks watches on. You can see the trailer below from Bandai Namco's Dragon Battle Hour event, embedded below at around one hour and four minutes … [Read more...] about Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot’s Final Story DLC Is Trunks: The Warrior Of Hope

Genshin Impact 1.4 update includes new character Rosaria and a dating sim
Genshin Impact’s 1.4 update , Invitation of Windblume, will release on March 17. Invitation of Windblume heralds a raft of shiny new content, including new four-star playable character Rosaria and new four-star weapon, the Windblume Ode. “In version 1.4, we’ll be adding Rosaria ‘Thorny Benevolence’ as a new four-star playable character,” writes miHoYo’s technical director, Zhenzhong Yi, on the PlayStation Blog . More Than 5,000 Final Fantasy 14 Accounts Banned For Real-Money Trading
More than 5,000 Final Fantasy 14 players likely woke up a few days ago to find their accounts had been banned. According to the development team, these players were engaged in real-money trading and advertisements, which could have ruined the game's balance. In a post on the game's official website , Square Enix said that 5,037 accounts were banned for participation in real-money trading and "other illicit activities," while another 814 were banned for advertising real-money trading. Players can submit a cheating report within the game client to help curb the problem, and they can also report advertisements to stop others from offering these services in the game. It probably won't completely eliminate the problem, but it should help reduce its prevalence. Things like selling power-leveling services and other gear you don't want for real money in MMO games is not new, but it's certainly still frustrating to see other players literally pay to win with the best gear that they … [Read more...] about More Than 5,000 Final Fantasy 14 Accounts Banned For Real-Money Trading
Take-Two’s CEO reckons we’re “ready” for $70 video games
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has revealed he thinks gamers are "ready" for $70/£65 video games. Talking at the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media & Telecom Conference this week and transcribed by our friends at VGC , Zelnick was asked to expand on why the publisher had decided to add $10 to the price of NBA 2K21. The first publisher to confirm a price hike for next-gen video games, Zelnick said the decision came because the game offered "an array of extraordinary experiences" and the last frontline price increase in the US was fifteen years ago. "We announced a $70 price point for NBA 2K21, our view was that we're offering an array of extraordinary experiences, lots of replayability, and the last time there was a frontline price increase in the US was 2005, 2006, so we think consumers were ready for it," Zelnick said. Of course, there were considerably fewer microtransactions and DLC in mainstream games back then and interestingly, he could not be drawn on future pricing of … [Read more...] about Take-Two’s CEO reckons we’re “ready” for $70 video games
