Home • Free PC Games • PC Game News • 1 Brendan Caldwell List Goblin 8th December 2016 / 6:53PM We already give you piles of free games every week, but I know you always want more, clamouring like a chick and opening your maw, waiting for us to regurgitate yet more free experimental interactivity into your beak. It’s disgusting. Anyway, open wide, here’s five more bright young gamethings from creators like Tale of Tales, Cardboard Computer and Pol Clarissou, all clumped together in one neat globule called the Triennale Game Collection. You can get the collection on Steam. The games include L.O.C.K, a “small exploration of the universe… based on cosmologies which place the Earth, and thus humans, at the center of the universe”, Il Filo Conduttore, which looks like a still life was turned into a game, and a mystical western-looking thing called Neighbour. It’s all part of the Milan Game Festival, which is itself a … [Read more...] about Art darlings: Five free games in the Triennale Collection

Finally: Square Realizes Final Fantasies Should Be On PC
Home • PC Game News • 97 Nathan Grayson Contributor 20th February 2014 / 11:00AM The PC is not entirely bereft of Big Hair And Superfluous Zippers: The Neverending (Candy) Saga, which is sometimes colloquially referred to as “Final Fantasy.” The series’ MMO entries, FFXI and FFXIV, got their starts here, and PlayStation One classics FFVII and FFVIII recently received refurbished Steam ports. That majority of numbered Final Fantasy games, however, have stuck to the realm of buttons, thumbsticks, and cameras that have yet to change gaming in any meaningful way. Home • Free PC Games • PC Game News • Final Fantasy XV • 17 Alice O'Connor News Editor 26th February 2018 / 6:23PM Boys, boys, boys, I’m looking for a good time. That’s why I’m downloading the demo for Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition, which just launched. The demo contains the RPG’s first chapter so we can meet those boys, boys, boys and see how their road trip starts. And hopefully it’ll let us see how the game might actually run on our PCs, given that the benchmarking tool released earlier this month is wonky and Square Enix say it “may not accurately reflect the game’s final performance”. For now: boys. The demo contains the tutorial and the first chapter, which sadly is before the anime boyband roadtrip antics are in full swing. It’s available now through Steam, Origin, and Microsoft’s Store. The download size is 18.7GB, and Squeenix note that it includes the high-res (and … [Read more...] about Boys are back in town: Final Fantasy XV PC demo is out
Epic covering refund costs for crowdfunded games going exclusive to their store
Home • PC Game News • Shenmue III • 93 Alice O'Connor News Editor 3rd July 2019 / 6:55PM Epic Games are continuing to slap on a thick coat of cash to smooth over problems with their substandard store, now announcing money is their solution to discontent over crowdfunded games such as Shenmue III becoming Epic exclusives. For games whose crowdfunding campaigns offered keys for the game on a specific store before the game became a timed Epic exclusive, Epic now say, they’ll either arrange keys for the promised store or pay for refunds. I do think people are making mountains out of molehills, but I’m told that’s what the Internet is for. And goodness me, have Epic bought the Thompson Hillsquisher XR300, the ‘Silver Sentinel’? Complete with the optional racing stripes, saddlebags, and pewter bell? The original PC plan for Shenmue III laid out on Kickstarter was just “a digital copy” or “a physical … [Read more...] about Epic covering refund costs for crowdfunded games going exclusive to their store
