Bandai Namco has finally dropped a release date for action RPG Scarlet Nexus, arriving on Steam June 24th, 2021. First announced a while back, Scarlet Nexus didn't have that much detail around it until recently, and it's actually looking pretty intriguing. Players will experience the story from one of two perspectives, psychics Yuito or Kasane, who are fighting terrifying psychic monsters known as Others who "descend from the sky with a hunger for human brains." The design of the monsters is weird and compelling, as the Others' forms are amalgamations of different objects and human parts. One's got a valve wheel for a face and a tree head. Another's got a big arm made out of smaller arms. The combo-driven combat is about psychokinetic powers: Lifting, breaking, and throwing pieces of the environment around to crush monsters. Your first task is to seek out Olivia here at her shop in Konikoni, but soon after you'll be taken on to Memorial Hill and the Akala Outskirts , before your Akala Grand Trial with Kahuna Olivia herself at last. Konikoni City - Olivia's Shop, Pikanium Z, and Fossils There's plenty to see in Konikoni City, including a shop which ives you either a Skull Fossil or a Cover Fossil, a lady who gives you the Pikachu-exclusive Pikanium Z Crystal, and more. Glitchpunk is Grand Theft Auto 2 meets Cyberpunk - and its developers are pretty open about that. This top-down open-world action adventure is the debut game from Polish indie studio Dark Lord, which wears its GTA 2 influence on its sleeve. At a recent preview event held by publisher Daedalic, Dark Lord admitting to riffing on DMA Design's 1999 crime kill 'em-up, while adding modern design mechanics. You take contracts, either succeed or fail, steal vehicles, drive around, run from the police, collect money and shoot guns. "You might find more similarities, and we are very open about not trying to pretend this core experience is much different. In this particular aspect, we want to build on the GTA 2 formula and enhance it with modern UX solutions, like an easier save system, fast contract replays, more wanted levels, easier item management, and more destructible objects." Crunchyroll Games has announced that Mob Psycho 100: Psychic Battle--a turn-based RPG mobile game based on the popular anime series--is out today. Psychic Battle joins Crunchyroll Games' expanding library of anime-based titles, which includes bubble shooter Bungo Stray Dogs: Tales of the Lost, gacha RPG Grand Summoners, and puzzle game RWBY: Crystal Match. Zack Snyder has revealed more about his plans for future Justice League instalments – including the surprise character arc that would have seen Superman’s offspring become the new Caped Crusader. Speaking to Vanity Fair , Snyder revealed that one of the blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moments in Zack Snyder’s Justice League – Lois Lane’s pregnancy test – was leading somewhere. "It was going to be Lois and Superman’s son," Snyder said of what would have been a Justice League 3 reveal. "He doesn’t have any powers, and then he was going to end up being the new Batman." Then, a time jump: "Twenty years later, on the anniversary of [Batman’s] death, they take young Bruce Kent down to the Batcave and they say, ‘Your Uncle Bruce would’ve been proud if you did this."
