Over the past couple of months, Bungie has published blog posts, held livestreams, and taken to Twitter to address some of the more contentious issues surrounding Destiny 2 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Responding to public feedback and frustration about Bungie's perceived lack of transparency, the studio has stated an intention to be more open. Recently, the developer revealed that it will talk about the future of the game on Thursday, likely with a heavy emphasis on player feedback.On Twitter, game director Christopher Barrett stated that he does, in fact, read and watch as much feedback as possible across many platforms. According to CVG, Borderlands 3 isn’t in development. The developers at Gearbox would love to make a new Borderlands game, but studio head Randy Pitchford (speaking to Polygon) says: “We are not working on Borderlands 3.” He continues to add, “We know we want it and we know it should exist, but we don't know what it is yet”. Well alrighty, then. Where's the news here? How you choose to look at this story is really up to you. On the one-hand, you could say that Pitchford has given Borderlands fans hope by saying that his team wants to work on a third game in the series. That’s marginally better than a flat-out denial that it’ll ever happen. On the other hand, you could say that precisely zero fresh information has come to light. Halo 6 release date is something all fans are excited to know about but there are also worries that 343i may not be able to pull off a decent game since they did a mediocre job with Halo 5. Halo 5 had its issues; lack of an impactful storyline and repetitive multiplayer combined with a host of issues at launch. 343i was also hit hard by the community over unacceptable problems with Halo MCC. The trust is lacking right now but 343i does have a talented team of developers that can recover their reputation with the backing of Microsoft’s finest. As far as Halo 6 goes, Halo 6 is expected to continue the story of Master Chief and Agent Locke. Master Chief will try to recover his reputation in the universe while Agent Locke will have a better understanding of Chief’s motives. The retro-inspired platformer Yooka-Laylee launched for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC back in April, but developer Playtonic has yet to announce a release date for the Nintendo Switch version. However, it looks like some more information about the Nintendo release could be coming soon.On Twitter, Playtonic share an image of the game running on Switch and said that it "continues to work hard" on the version. No other details were shared, but the developer says it "hope[s] to have more news soon." You can see the image below.Playtonic recently rolled out the first major update for Yooka-Laylee on PC.
