The KEEP is something I actually saw last year, but I still think about it every day. The Keep Smart Storage may look like a clock, but it's actually a safe to store your weed, and I guess other medication, but mostly weed. KEEP would have been perfect for me back in college when I thought a chin-goatee and boot-cut jeans with sneakers was a good look. … [Read more...] about Somehow only one of these funny looking CES gadgets is a sex toy

Build crafting in Destiny 2 has gone from non-existent at launch to now being so complex that some players are afraid to even touch it. Which is a shame, because the two main mod systems—'Charged with Light' and 'Warmind Cells'—enable perks that are super fun and powerful to play with. Unfortunately, the game doesn't do a great job of explaining how either system works, and because the mods were released in previous seasons, they can be annoying to get hold of now. Make sure to check the Gunsmith at the Tower daily to see which mods he's selling and buy any you don't have. … [Read more...] about How to create a powerful Destiny 2 ‘Charged with Light’ build that works anywhere
I can't pretend Under the Skin is a particularly good game. It's woefully shallow and often teeth-grindingly unfair, as confusing action collides with an unhelpful camera. The overall tone and characters are so exuberant and over the top that it becomes exhausting to watch, let alone play. It is fun, though, in small doses and it still pops into my brain whenever stealth games are in discussion, so it must have done something right. If nothing else it makes me wish for a mod that lets Agent 47 turn into a giant puce superhero and fly around the level, knocking people over like a psychotic Mr Tumble. … [Read more...] about Revisiting Under the Skin, Capcom’s forgotten arcade stealth game
Are we excited that Massive is making a Star Wars game?Tim Clark, Brand Director: I love this. It's one of those announcements that just seems such a good fit that your brain immediately spins up with ideas. I played a lot of The Division, and only less of its sequel because by that point my Destiny 2 addiction had spiraled so irrevocably out of control. But if we're to assume that this new Star Wars game will be some sort of shared-world looter shooter, then the license feels like an incredibly good fit. What I think the continued love for KOTOR tells us is that Star Wars fans want to live in this universe, not just blow through a quick campaign like Fallen Order, and although live service loot games have a bit of a bad rap right now—largely I think because they're so hard to get right—Massive is one of very few studios with the experience to pull it off. … [Read more...] about What do we want from Ubisoft’s open world Star Wars game?
