By Tanner Dedmon - December 7, 2019 02:10 pm EST Share 0 Comments 0 CD Projekt Red revealed a stunning custom-made Xbox One X on Saturday that’s going to make one Cyberpunk 2077 fan a lucky person if they win the auction for it. It’s a Cyberpunk 2077 console modeled after one of the groups in the game, a faction known as the Voodoo Boys. It’s got insignias from the gang plastered all over it, and it’s even got a skull atop the console that’s been outfitted with a cyberpunk look. The developers of the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 game unveiled the console on Saturday in a series of images shared on Twitter that showed it from different angles. It’s got skulls and other brandings from the Voodoo Boys, but the most attention-grabbing part of the console is the animal skull that’s been affixed to the top-left of the device with a custom-made slot for it to rest in. Red Dead Redemption 2 Leak Possibly Hints at Mexico Expansion
By Tyler Fischer - December 7, 2019 03:13 pm EST Share 0 Comments 0 Red Dead Redemption 2 may be taking PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia players to Mexico in the future via Red Dead Online or via a single-player expansion. That, or at one point Rockstar Games' open-world western included northern Mexico just like its predecessor. As you may remember, in the first game, Mexico was a big part of the map, and also played a big role in the game's story. However, for whatever reason, Red Dead Redemption 2 never takes players to Mexico, though it does take them to some Caribbean island. Over on the GTA Forums, member VideoTech UK dug into the game's files, or more specifically, the 1.0 files of PS4 version of the game. And what they found was a variety of 3D models of different landscapes and towns in Mexico, suggesting some work was done to the region at some point for the game. Of course, these models are rudimentary and aren't for anything more than … [Read more...] about Red Dead Redemption 2 Leak Possibly Hints at Mexico Expansion
Tough Love: On Dark Souls’ Difficulty
You Died: The Dark Souls Companion is one of the great gaming books of the last few years - it's passionate, perceptive and wonderfully partisan. (We should also mention that it's the work of two friends of Eurogamer, Keza MacDonald and Jason Killingsworth.) Killingsworth is currently running a Kickstarter campaign to produce a beautiful hardback version of the book, which will include a new chapter. He's kindly allowed us to publish this extract as a taster. Dark Souls' most obvious trait also happens to be its least interesting; fixating on 'gosh, this game's hard' seems a bit obvious when we could be talking about its themes, its lore, its fascinating game design. Dark Souls is more than a Tough Mudder challenge for the couch-bound. But Dark Souls' difficulty is also inescapable and, rightly or wrongly, it's what the game is most famous for. Ask players for their recollections, and they will tell you the moments that made them cry, the moments when they felt physically and … [Read more...] about Tough Love: On Dark Souls’ Difficulty

Stan Lee’s Stolen Blood Used to Sign Black Panther Comic Books
By Kofi Outlaw - April 6, 2018 10:34 pm EDT Share 5 Comments 5 The saga of Stan Lee's sunset years continues to get more bizarre, as an already bizarre story of Lee's blood being stolen has now (somehow) taken an even more bizarre turn. As detailed in a new report from TMZ, Lee's missing blood has popped up on the market - in a couple of Black Panther comic books that the Marvel co-creator himself signed in his own body juice! The comics in question are being sold at the Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. store on the Las Vegas strip. The twist is that each comic comes with a certificate that authenticates the book as a "Hand-Stamped Signature of STAN LEE using Stan Lee's Solvent DNA Ink." You can check out photos of the comics, and the official certificate, here. One comic in Blue DNA ink is selling for $250 - the other, in gold ink, is selling for $500. UPDATE: Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. in Las Vegas has reported to us that they officially pulled the Black Panther … [Read more...] about Stan Lee’s Stolen Blood Used to Sign Black Panther Comic Books
