It looks like a leaked Elden Ring trailer may be circulating online ahead of a long-awaited official announcement about FromSoftware's next game, but take any individual videos or images you see with several grains of salt. According to reports from VGC , Eurogamer , and beyond, a partial, off-screen recording of a new Elden Ring trailer has been making the rounds around the internet for the last few weeks. While some have shared snippets from the trailer on social media, others are taking the opportunity to sow confusion by uploading grainy, altered footage of other Souls-like games and claiming it comes from the source in question. Thor: Love and Thunder is currently filming in Australia, and once again as in early February , photos from the set have leaked, revealing some potentially surprising cameos. The photos, which were posted online by Daily Mail , show Melissa McCarthy (Bridesmaids, Ghostbusters) and husband, Ben Falcone (The Happytime Murders, The Boss) on set. In the photos, McCarthy can be seen laughing maniacally in a green Hela headpiece, alongside Matt Damon as Loki and Luke Hemsworth as Thor. The latter pair previously portrayed these roles in Thor: Ragnarok for an Asgardian play that depicted Loki's death in Thor: The Dark World--likely suggesting (and we'll have to wait until the movie's out to know for sure) that the Asgardian actors from Ragnarok are still acting. 2064: Read Only Memories might have my favourite opening of any game ever. I'm thinking specifically about the bit you can play in a demo on Steam. You're a writer, sat in your tiny apartment, procrastinating about writing a review of some fancy new headphones. You manage to power through the review and go to sleep after flicking eyes across the local news, and then you wake up in the middle of the night when a polite robot breaks in and tidies up. 2064 is the work of MidBoss, a studio based in Berkeley, California, and which specialises in games with a LGBTQIA+ focus and a strong sense of diversity and inclusivity. The game is an adventure affair set in a future poised on the brink of three singularities, and in the opening ten minutes there's a brilliant joke about being a writer and an excellent discussion of Asimov's laws of robotics. Doom 3 VR Edition will launch for PlayStation VR on 29th March, Bethesda has announced. This VR-enhanced version will contain the 2004 first-person shooter and its expansions Resurrection of Evil and The Lost Mission, enhanced with new textures, sound effects and virtual reality features. The game makes use of the system's Aim controller for its motion-controlled flashlight-mounted weapons. You'll also use it to check your handy wrist-mounted display. There's also a 180-degree quick-turn function to catch any demons creeping up behind you. Bethesda is still currently an independent company, and its Microsoft buyout has yet to go through. Prolific mobile games publisher Zynga has acquired Torchlight 3 developer Echtra Games for an undisclosed sum, GamesIndustry.Biz reports . Following the acquisition, Echtra will be collaborating with fellow Zynga studio NaturalMotion on an unannounced, cross-platform RPG. But according to Zynga CEO Frank Gibeau, it also sounds like the studio will help give the mobile- and social-heavy publisher find a foothold on PC gaming. "Max and his team at Echtra Games are responsible for some of the most legendary game properties ever created, and they are experts in the action RPG genre and cross-platform development," said Gibeau. "This acquisition will be instrumental in growing our iconic licenses and brands from mobile to PCs and consoles, while helping to further expand Zynga's total addressable market."
