If you're in the market for a reasonably priced 4K display with a curved screen, then look no further, you've found it. Dell's S3221QS fits the bill and is on sale for $349.99 right now, down from its $549.99 list price. The actual savings is not quite that deep. It's more difficult to track price trends at Dell's website compared to Amazon, where CamelCamelCamel makes it super easy to see a product's pricing history. But if taking a trip in the Wayback Machine, you can see this monitor was priced at $449.99 in January. Netflix’s Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness Releases This Summer, Picks Up After Resident Evil 4
Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield are getting a new story in Netflix's animated series, Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness , and now we know when you can expect to watch it: July 2021. We also know a little more about the story the series will cover and how it fits into the greater Resident Evil timeline. Capcom released new info about Infinite Darkness during its latest Resident Evil Showcase, where it showed a new trailer from the series and narrowed down its release window. The previous teaser for Infinite Darkness indicated that it's a story that'll feature both Resident Evil 2 protagonists, Leon and Claire, as well as more than a few zombies. During the showcase, we found out that the story will take place, at least in part, at the White House--and will feature a zombie outbreak in the highest halls of the US government. Brad Pitt joins Sandra Bullock rom-com Lost City of D
The upcoming romantic action-adventure comedy Lost City of D has added Brad Pitt in a cameo role, according to a new report from Collider . The Paramount production stars Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum, with Daniel Radcliffe set to play a villain. The Lost City of D will center on a romance novelist who is a bit anti-social. She ends up stuck on a book tour with her cover model, and life goes even further off the rails when a kidnapping attempt takes them on a jungle adventure, turning her life into an experience that not even she could dream of in her romance novels. Pitt's cameo will be somewhat of a reunion with Bullock. She makes an appearance in his action movie Bullet Train , which just wrapped production up with director David Leitch. Pitt’s role in Lost City of D is currently being kept under wraps. Directors Adam and Aaron Nee are both behind the camera for Lost City of D with a script from Dana Fox. The writer is no stranger to romantic comedies. She also … [Read more...] about Brad Pitt joins Sandra Bullock rom-com Lost City of D
Hostile Architecture: Resident Evil’s Spencer Mansion wants to kill you
I recently discovered that there's more than one type of haunted house. The traditional kind is easily recognizable. It's a regular house, only one that at some point became possessed by an evil entity. A lot of the time, this entity – ghost, demon, poltergeist, whatever it may be – points back to some horrific trauma or atrocity. It's a very human haunting, one that leaks into the architecture of the building slowly and from the outside . The second kind of haunted house is much less common, but I think much more potent in terms of horror: Imagine a building born bad. If you need help visualizing it, look towards The House of Leaves or the mansion from The Haunting of Hill House (the book rather than the TV series, which changes things significantly). With the second kind of haunted house, nothing has leaked in from outside. The evil entity is interior to the architecture itself. There's darkness in the very bricks and mortar. The place was bad from the ground up – haunted … [Read more...] about Hostile Architecture: Resident Evil’s Spencer Mansion wants to kill you
Skate City rides out for some gorgeous street sessions next month
As far as I'm concerned, there's no such thing as too many skateboarding games. Next month, we're getting a scorcher, as Skate City shreds a line away from Apple Arcade exclusivity onto PC and consoles. Launching on Apple's subscription service last September, Skate City is a side-scrolling skateboarder in line with games like Ollie Ollie . But where that game focusses more on platforming challenges and combo runs, Skate City looks to take more from the likes of Session or Skater XL—using a system of directional swipes to pull off increasingly complex tricks while finding your own lines. In motion, it's gorgeous. Skate City's, err, cities are blooming, hazy dreamscapes. It captures that unique joy of skating through a city at sundown—all without the pain of suddenly slamming your face into a sidewalk, forcing you to check into work meetings with a massive black eye. Couldn't be me. I'm particularly into your pal grabbing a camera to film your line in this clip, … [Read more...] about Skate City rides out for some gorgeous street sessions next month
