In just a few more weeks. Intel's Rocket Lake CPUs will blast off into the retail space, bringing with them support for PCI Express 4.0, an amenity that has been available to AMD users for around a year and a half now (starting with Zen 2, or AMD's Ryzen 3000 series). Though Intel is showing up late to the party, it plans to crash it by delivering faster storage performance through the PCIe 4.0 bus. In no uncertain terms, Intel says its "11th Gen Core desktop platform delivers up to 11 percent better PCIe Gen 4 storage performance vs the AMD Ryzen 9 5000 platform." As supposed proof of this claim, Intel benchmarked a 1TB Samsung 980 Pro SSD on two high-end systems sporting flagship CPUs from each company. Fall Guys developer Mediatonic has been purchased by Epic Games, according to the Epic Newsroom announcement . The news broke Tuesday, March 2 by Bloomberg's Jason Schreier , then followed up shortly after by the official Fall Guys Twitter account and Epic Games themselves. Both companies promise that Fall Guys gameplay "isn't changing" and "Epic will continue to invest in making the game a great experience for [players across platforms." The game will still be available on PC, PS4, and PS5, and will still release on Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X "soon." “Beyond the shared vision among our teams, we see tremendous potential in combining forces with Epic. In case you needed more proof that Thor: Love and Thunder is basically going to be Ragnarok 2, new set photos have seemingly confirmed that the Marvel Phase 4 movie will include a sequel to one of Ragnarok’s most beloved scenes. Both Matt Damon and Luke Hemsworth, brother of Chris, have been spotted on set in Australia (via The Daily Mail ) – with the pair dressed in their ‘fake’ Loki and Thor costumes respectively. It appears they are set to reprise their role from Ragnarok’s Asgardian stage show retelling key events from the God of Thunder’s life. To add to the pageantry, there are a handful of extras in Asgardian garb, plus a horse. Naturally. As part of this week's Infinite Frontier #0, DC has announced a new Supergirl title planned to launch in June 2021. Though Infinite Frontier #0 doesn't include any hints at what's ahead for Supergirl's story and status quo, her new series, titled Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, is included in a list of upcoming DC titles at the end of the one-shot. Though the plot and creators of Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow have yet to be announced, along with whether it is an ongoing or limited series, its title is somewhat interesting in itself. There's the obvious juxtaposition of 'Super girl ' with the subtitle ' Woman of Tomorrow,' which can almost be read literally as the growth of a girl into a woman. But it also harkens back to Supergirl's DC: Future State title, which was called Kara Zor-El: Superwoman.
