We're still waiting to learn more about the PSVR PS5 version, but we just got a half dozen new games to look forward to for the one we already have. The PlayStation Blog just finished with a day-long PSVR Spotlight, showcasing six games headed to Sony's virtual reality headsets with new trailers and posts from the developers themselves. Fortnite has jumped on the Sea Shanty TikTok craze with its own take, an emote named Shanty for a Squad. Set to the tune of Wellerman, it features Fortnite's own lyrics singing about the island's storm brewing up and a squad surviving to get their "dub". As with the game's Christmas carol emote, the more of you in your squad using the emote at the same time, the more parts of its vocals are filled in. It's a neat nod to the collaborative TikTok, and/or a cunning plan to encourage all four squad members into a purchase. Shanty for a Squad launched on Fortnite's item shop last night, priced 500 V-Bucks, and I've had it in my brain ever since. Even the dirtiest, meanest Viking knows the importance of apartment therapy. After a long day of mining iron in the muck of a deep swamp crypt, you need somewhere warm and bright to come home to, a place where you can grab a horn of mead, a bowl of carrot stew, and truly unwind. For me, home is a wooden shack with a single torch the greydwarves want nothing to do with. I am not sure what their deal is. But with talented architects now a month into Valheim , we're seeing homes with true square footage and lovely interiors crop up every day. Pokemon Sword and Shield players can claim another in-game freebie for a limited time. As a reward for defeating a ton of Gigantamax Pikachu during the games' recent Max Raid event , The Pokemon Company is distributing a bundle of free Armorite and Dynite Ore. These items are normally hard to get in Sword and Shield, so you won't want to miss your chance to grab this free bundle. The overarching goal of the event was to defeat 1 million Pikachu. If players could collectively hit that total, The Pokemon Company promised to give away 100 Armorite Ore and 100 Dynite Ore. Unfortunately, players fell a little short; only 874,808 Pikachu were ultimately defeated during the event. Although the goal wasn't met, The Pokemon Company is still distributing 87 of each ore to all players as a reward. To claim the free items, simply open the Mystery Gift menu and select the Receive via Internet option.
