Well, it's over. WandaVision Episode 9, "The Series Finale," is streaming now on Disney+, and no matter what else you may have thought about it, the final chapter was at least full of Easter eggs and references for us to break down. Skull and Bones, Ubisoft's piratical MMO, is turning out to be quite the tease. It was announced in 2017, we got to play it in 2018, but here we are in 2021 and there's no sign of a release date. Not even on the horizon. Not even with a nautical telescope. Recently we did get an update from Ubisoft Singapore, the studio working on the game, to let us know it was still a thing, but had seen significant changes to implement a "new vision" for the project. We're yet to see any trailers or gameplay that show us exactly what that new vision is, but at least it's proof of life. The last time we saw Skull and Bones it borrowed heavily from the naval battles of Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, and added the chaos and excitement that comes from teaming up with friends online. The MCU is filled with Easter eggs and references. Some are hints of things to come, some are just fun winks. Some, though, are tributes. One of these tributes slips in during the credits to WandaVision, and it goes by in a flash. WandaVision director Matt Shakman revealed the Easter egg in an interview with Screen Rant . "I mean, there are certainly some that folks have noticed that are important," Shakman said. "A certain license plate, perhaps, in an opening title recently. We have to honor Stan Lee, of course." To see it for yourself, pop into WandaVision Episode 7 --the one that starts out with the Office-style credits--and fast forward to just before 4:12. That's when the Easter egg appears. The license plate itself simply reads "WANDA" in all caps, but its the number above that that we're interested in: 122822. Hit TV shows are expected to get multiple seasons, and creators plan ahead for things like that. With Marvel Studios, however, they are doing things a bit differently. Speaking at the TCA winter press tour from the set of Ms. Marvel, Marvel Studios COO Kevin Feige confirmed that while the story will dictate the direction of the shows' respective futures, continuing with multiple seasons is not out of the question. "We've already said that [Elizabeth] Olsen will go from WandaVision to the new Doctor Strange film. The fun of the MCU is obviously all the crossover we can do between the series' and the films. The finale of WandaVision lands tomorrow on Disney+. Last week's episode featured plenty of Easter eggs throughout the episode , and you may have missed a few. Last week ended with a bit of a cliffhanger, along with a pretty big name drop, and Episode 9 should wrap everything up for the MCU series. Has it been Agatha all along or is there still someone else pulling the strings behind-the-scenes? It's probably been Agatha, but what's important is figuring out how to save the people of Westview and learning what a Scarlet Witch is.
