The weekly Red Dead Online patch notes are in, and it's a good time to be dealing in Moonshine. Starting this week, bootlegging is becoming a little bit more lucrative thanks to a bunch of new bonuses to trading. During this time you’ll be able to earn 50 percent extra RDO$ along with double character XP and payouts on Moonshine sales. Speaking of Moonshine sales, if you complete any sale or trader sale, you’ll net yourself a free treasure map. Better yet, simply logging in before March 1 will reward you with a free Moonshine Mash Refill. If you feel confident in your horse riding, there will be a chance to earn double payouts in this week’s featured Series, including Target Races, Open Target Races, Plunder and more. You might want to hop into one of these modes during this time and make the most of the double rewards on offer for your troubles, which is always a nice bonus. Best Shots review – Future State: House of El #1 reframes the Superman legacy as a Game of Thrones-esque slice of cosmic fantasy
Kryptonian civil war rages amongst the descendants of Superman in Future State: Superman: House of El #1 , a double-sized one-shot that pitches the legacy of Superman as a Game of Thrones-esque slice of cosmic fantasy. Future State: Superman - House of El #1 credits Written by Phillip Kennedy Johnson Phillip Kennedy Johnson eschews quiet character in favor of cinematic siege warfare, drawn ably by artist Scott Godlewski. Ronan Kent holds the title of Superman here, backed up by a team that fills out the usual fantasy archetypes with a decidedly Kryptonian spin. Godlewski has fun with the visuals here. Between the Blue Lantern who wears the S as a construct, a mixed-race Kryptonian/Tamaranean and the Red-Son-meets-Warhammer vibes of the Red King, there's loads of eye candy here. Liberally daubed in thematically appropriate blue and red by Gabe Eltaeb, House of El is a slick looking book with a fluid sense of pace. However, there's just too much going on here. … [Read more...] about Best Shots review – Future State: House of El #1 reframes the Superman legacy as a Game of Thrones-esque slice of cosmic fantasy

Away from any Horizon Forbidden West and God of War 2 updates, State of Play was a welcome retreat from the PS5 hype cycle
I'd imagine many PS5 owners will have been able to relate to the plight of the ever-suffering Nintendo fan last night, who has sat through countless Directs hoping for more news on Metroid Prime 4 and Breath of the Wild 2 , only to be exposed to yet another montage of obscure JRPGs. Yesterday's State of Play offered a similar treatment; there were expectations for Horizon Forbidden West , Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart , and maybe even God of War 2 , but no such titles were shown. Instead, we were shown PS5 refreshes for a number of pre-existing PS4 games, such as Crash Bandicoot 4 and Final Fantasy 7 Remake , alongside new trailers for Kena: Bridge of Spirits , Deathloop , Oddworld: Soulstorm , and more. In fact, the only true PS5 exclusive to be shown was Returnal , which had already debuted a new trailer the day before, with other surprise announcements like Sifu also coming to PC and PS4. It was easy to be disappointed by … [Read more...] about Away from any Horizon Forbidden West and God of War 2 updates, State of Play was a welcome retreat from the PS5 hype cycle
