Home • PC Game News • Godus • 67 John Walker Prisoner 28th June 2016 / 4:26PM The grim tale of Godus‘s development seems to have gotten a lot grimmer. Lead developer Konrad Naszynski’s contract expired shortly after the release of Godus Wars and wasn’t renewed, 22cans confirm, and a source tells us there’s no one left working on the game. Rumours began to circulate earlier this month that the small team had either left the company or been moved over to work on 22cans other in-development project, The Trail. A source confirmed these departures to us last week. We reached out to 22cans for comment but heard nothing back. Now company CEO Simon Phillips has spoken to Eurogamer to confirm the departure of Naszynski, but he denies that there’s no one left working on Godus. First, on Naszynski: “”Konrad was actually a contractor and was tasked with building the levels on Godus Wars,” Phillips said. “He … [Read more...] about Godus’ Designer Has Left 22cans, No Time Frame For Release
Home • PC Game News • Black Mesa • 13 Natalie Clayton Contributor 2nd August 2019 / 6:54PM It feels like only yesterday that Half-Life remake Black Mesa was a joke. The highest-profile vaporware of the Source modding community. That thing had been milling around since 2005. Nobody thought it would ever actually come out. I remember feeling properly shook when eventually did in 2012, seven years later. Except, it wasn’t exactly done. With today’s Gonarch chapter entering public beta, it got a little bit closer to completion. It’s not too surprising that the alien world is taking so long. Xen was always a bit of a rubbish (if at least interesting) closing chapter for Half-Life. Crowbar Collective have spent a long time reimagining what a better version of it could look like.. We … [Read more...] about It’s crab-fighting time: Black Mesa’s Xen beta is diving into the Gonarch’s Lair

By JK Schmidt - September 5, 2017 04:44 pm EDT Share 0 Comments 0 Wonder Woman has finally received her own feature film more than 75 years after the character debuted in the pages of All Star Comics #8, completing a massive journey in the character’s long-running history. Though the story recounts the hero’s origins before debuting in last year’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the process of making the film was challenging for the people behind the camera. Though Patty Jenkins always had a version of this particular story in mind, producers of the film were debating the best plot of the film before she became attached to the project. Warner Bros. producer Charles Roven, who has had a hand in almost every DC Comics project since Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins, spoke with Collider about the scripting phase for Wonder Woman and the how the film changed before it finally became the version playing in theaters. “Really early … [Read more...] about Wonder Woman Producer Details How The Film Changed Over Time
