Mass Effect endings guide: What outcomes are there for the different endings in Mass Effect 1

Having the possibility of different Mass Effect endings is one of the big draws of this series, as the decisions you make during your journey will affect how the storyline concludes. Although this is partly based on whether you followed a mainly good (Paragon) or bad (Renegade) path, there are also some specific choices when you reach the finale that directly impact which outcome you'll get. If you're starting the Mass Effect Legendary Edition from the beginning then it pays to know what resolutions you can work towards, especially as this result carries over to the sequel and therefore has a longer term impact. As we said before, the Paragon or Renegade groundwork you lay as you progress through the game will have an effect on the outcome to a degree. “Someone should take a stake to the script” – what the critics thought of Buffy back in 1997

It’s easy to look back and love Buffy the Vampire Slayer now, comfortable in the knowledge that it changed TV forever. But what would you have made of the first episode, Welcome to the Hellmouth, when it first aired in 1997? Well, you’d probably have loved it, because you’re handsome and have excellent taste, but that’s hardly the point.
