You may already be composing a comment declaring that this makes it a very thin comparison point for the Hitman series, but it's important that you understand that I am a very bad Hitman player. Not for me the painstaking observation and elaborate assassination scenarios. No, my default way of playing Hitman is to swipe a costume and then embark on a clumsy and steadily escalating spree as I create as much mayhem and confusion as possible. And in that sense, the way I play Hitman is exactly identical to the gameplay of Under the Skin, just without the generous sprinkles of golden coins. … [Read more...] about Revisiting Under the Skin, Capcom’s forgotten arcade stealth game

What traditional 'Ubisoft open world game' elements seem like a good fit? What don't?Chris: I'm not a huge fan of leveled enemies in some cases—I'm fine when there's heavies and when reaching new leveled zones results in meeting more powerful enemies, but I recall in Assassin's Creed Origins wandering into a high level zone and encountering a hyena that was like 30 levels higher than me and thus indestructible, whereas a hyena in a level-appropriate zone was just a hyena. Make sure to check the Gunsmith at the Tower daily to see which mods he's selling and buy any you don't have. … [Read more...] about How to create a powerful Destiny 2 ‘Charged with Light’ build that works anywhere
