Bethesda has shared some details on what to expect from Fallout 76 throughout the month of March. This includes plans to re-open the game's Public Test Server--giving players a chance to test new features--and a handy refresher on the month's upcoming community activities. Fans have been awaiting the return of the Public Test Server (PTS) in order to get some hands-on playtesting with Fallout 76's next update. Bethesda plans to re-open the PTS in mid-March, at which point players will be able to try out upcoming features such as S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Loadouts, C.A.M.P. Slots, the new Daily Ops expansion, and more. Before then, however, is the Caps-A-Plenty weekend, which is currently live and runs until 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM GMT on March 8. This event allows you to fill up your coffers by visiting vendors throughout Appalachia and selling unwanted gear for up to 2,800 Caps per day. Zack Snyder on why Army of the Dead is his “small movie”
Zack Snyder's a busy man. Not only has the director caused a huge stir online by re-doing Justice League , but he also has a new Netflix movie on the horizon: Army of the Dead, about a group of mercenaries who try to rob a Las Vegas casino during a zombie outbreak. Speaking to Total Film in the new issue of the magazine, Snyder describes his latest gargantuan action blockbuster – which you can see an exclusive image from above – "my small movie". The filmmaker does not mean in scale, though, but in sensibility. "I’ve tried to get at it in a super- intimate, personal way. It’s not made by committee," says Snyder, which should be welcome words following the Justice League farrago. For one, the film goes deep on the complicated relationship between Scott and his daughter Kate, played by Ella Purnell. "It’s definitely a movie that’s incredibly personal and singular." Looking for some Cold War Outbreak tips? Since Treyarch's latest zombies mode isn't quite like anything else we've seen in the series before, I wouldn't blame you if you do. Outbreak's open-ended maps give you a lot of breathing room to make your own decisions; Where to explore, when to progress, and whether you should stick with what you've got, or twist, is totally up to you and your team. But first, the basics: in Outbreak, you (solo or as a squad of up to four) are dropped in the zombie-infested Ural Mountains to facilitate a series of otherworldly experiments. In other words, you'll be gearing up, completing objectives in progressively challenging environments, and, naturally, dispatching many, many undead—hopefully for good this time. You can spend as much time as you like in each area, which is a refreshing change of pace, but it also means that you and your team have a lot of decisions to make.
