Niantic confirms the first Harry Potter: Wizards Unite Brilliant Event since the game officially launched out of beta on Android and iOS devices. Brilliant Events are limited time events where Harry Potter: Wizards Unite players can take down Brilliant Confoundables to get special rewards. The first official Harry Potter: Wizards Unite Brilliant Event will begin on July 3, 2019 at 1PM PST or 4PM EST for all players on compatible devices in regions where the game has been officially released. In this Brilliant Event, players will be able to add special, Brilliant Foundables to their Registry. Players will have just a few days to get these Brilliant Foundables as the event will end on July 10. Rowling’s Wizarding World will be able to play the new mobile game as it is only compatible with some mobile devices. What Are the Minimum Specs for Harry Potter: Wizards Unite? At the bare minimum, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite can only be run on mobile devices with: 2GB of RAM 2GB of storage space Internet connection, Wi-Fi, 3G, or LTE GPS and Location services A camera for augmented reality Gyroscope sensor Compass sensor The game is all about visiting real-world locations to go to Inns, Greenhouses, and Fortresses and it uses AR to make it look as though players are taking on Confoundables in the street. In Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, casting spells well is hugely important to finding success in the game. Dealing with Confoundables uses up Spell Energy and the more times that the player has to cast the spell and successfully send the Foundable back to where it’s supposed to be, the more Spell Energy that will use. The way to save Spell Energy is to cast better spells. When dealing with Counfoundables, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite will show players a metre that tells them how good their casting of that spell is. The meter goes from Fair, which is the weakest cast of a spell, to Good, then Great, and then Masterful which is the very best spell cast that a player can do. Accurately tracing the spell when it shows up on screen is only partially important and isn’t the only way to affect how well a spell has been cast.
