For many, Zombies play a pivotal role in the Call of Duty: Black Ops franchise, with this sentiment likely to carry over into the fourth entry that is set to release in just a few weeks’ time. After all, its zombies are even being used to make its forthcoming battle royale mode, Blackout, stand out amongst the competition. Still, many are looking forward to the Zombies mode, and Treyarch has seen fit to release a new trailer for it. Thus far, we know about three maps in the forthcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies mode: Voyage of Despair, Blood of the Dead, and IX. Ever since the announcement of Devil May Cry 5 at E3 earlier this year, fans have feverishly waiting for more details regarding the series’ main man Dante, who has been constantly teased for months. Now, at the Tokyo Game Show, Capcom has released a brand new trailer all about the red-coated Demon Hunter, with plenty of extra announcements to go with it. Devil May Cry 5 sees Dante returning to his usual business, looking scruffier than usual but a tiny bit more clean-shaven than his original appearance in the first trailer and armed with plenty of familiar-looking weapons, including his iconic sword Rebellion and twin pistols Ebony and Ivory. The newest trailer released for Tokyo Game Show highlights familiar faces, including the first major appearance of Ada Wong since the game’s reveal. The Resident Evil 2 remake story trailer takes a close look at the trials that both Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield will go through in their separate campaigns. Familiar faces pop up throughout the trailer, including the William and Annette Birkin, with a much closer look at the mutated mess William Birkin turns into.After months of speculation on the notorious spy Ada Wong, she makes her first official debut here. While various takes on the battle royale genre have released over the last year, including one that supports up to 1,000 players, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4‘s forthcoming Blackout Battle Royale mode manages to stand out even among heavy-hitting competition such as Fortnite and PUBG. After all, it attracted 400,000 viewers on Twitch, though Dr. DisRespect managed to have a bit of a unique experience. Black Ops 4 still manages to deliver a battle royale entry worthy of the Call of Duty brand despite it all. While the beta did showcase some shortcomings, it delivers upon promises of a huge map, tons of verticality, and a true Call of Duty experience. It’s been over ten years since players first experienced the dystopian society that is Rapture in the original BioShock that was released in 2007, also known as one of the best years for gaming. While the game was a thrilling, yet somewhat horrifying experience throughout, the game wasn’t without a few flaws. Most notably, the game’s ending was criticized along with its less than epic final boss battle. It seems that after a decade of waiting, fans of the game are getting the apology for the mediocre climax that was delivered courtesy of the first game’s director, Ken Levine.
