Pokemon GO saw one of its biggest Gen 4 updates recently, adding not only new Pokemon and evolutions, but brand new Lure Modules as well. Pokemon GO players can use these Lure Modules to get some of the game’s most anticipated Pokemon, including the Eeveelutions Glaceon and Leafeon. Following an article written about the game and some social media outcry, developer TFG Co. removed the Breaking News mission from Sniper 3D Assassin. It has been a good week for Minecraft and its developer, Mojang. Mojang recently celebrated its 10th anniversary, announced a new AR Pokemon GO-like mobile game called Minecraft Earth and now, in a post on Microsoft’s official website, creative director Saxs Persson revealed that, since it’s release in 2009, the sandbox title has sold at least 176 million copies worldwide. “This is an incredibly exciting time for Minecraft. Ten years ago today, the game launched on PC,” wrote Persson, “Now, Minecraft has sold more than 176 million copies to-date in virtually every country in the world.” This figure covers unit sales across every platform the game’s been released on, including mobile (though maybe not counting the version available on web browsers since it’s free). It’s certainly an impressive number and could potentially make Minecraft the best selling game of all time. However, that has yet to be … [Read more...] about Minecraft Hits 176 Million Copies Sold
