The story of MoviePass would make a great feature film. The theater subscription service allowed users to see one movie a day for $10 a month. In 2018, the service upped its monthly rate and started limiting what films its users could see. In 2019, the company engaged in some pretty shady stuff, like reportedly changing users passwords so they wouldn't use the service and secretly signing users back up for the service after they canceled it. Well, it's the end of the third act for MoviePass, and the climax is the service shutting its doors.On September 14, MoviePass will close its doors to all its users as it hasn't been a success, according to BuinessWire. The title of the next James Bond movie was finally revealed last month, and now some official images have been released. The film is titled No Time To Die, and will be Daniel Craig's fifth outing as the iconic British super-spy. It hits theaters in April 2020.Before you get too excited, the new images aren't actually shots from the film. They are publicity pictures of Craig, co-star Léa Seydoux, and director Cary Joji Fukunaga, on location in Matera, Italy. Frankly, Craig looks like he'd rather be anywhere but posing for these pictures, but it's certainly a suitably glamorous-looking location for the next Bond movie. Actor Pierce Brosnan, who portrayed the legendary super-spy James Bond in four 007 movies, has spoken up to say it is time for a woman to play the title role.Asked by The Hollywood Reporter for his thoughts on a woman playing 007, Brosnan replied, "Yes!""I think we've watched the guys do it for the last 40 years. Get out of the way, guys, and put a woman up there. I think it would be exhilarating; it would be exciting," he said.It is rumored that one of the plot points in the upcoming No Time To Die movie will feature Lashana Lynch's character taking over the 007 title from Daniel Craig. The new Adam Sandler movie, Uncut Gems, is getting rave reviews. The movie premiered at the Telluride Film Festival over the weekend before its December release, and it currently has a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a 92 on GameSpot sister site Metacritic. To be fair, there are only around 10 review scores published thus far, but it is a strong start and potentially representative of how the movie will rate when it's released widely later this year.The movie, which was directed by Benny and Josh Safdie, is a crime-thriller that follows the story of Howard Ratner (Sandler) who is a New York City jeweller intent on amassing more wealth.
