Mewtwo is heading to Raid Battles in Pokemon GO, and the last thing players want is widespread issues messing with their game ahead of the event, but that’s just what’s been happening. Luckily, Niantic was quick to jump on the case, and has since revolved the problems affecting the game. According to The Silph Road Subreddit and Twitter, as well as various reports from the players themselves, the game was seeing problems ranging from random trainer avatar changes to missing badges. Even the maps were going blank for some, which is pretty much crippling to an AR game like Pokemon GO.Niantic managed to isolate and resolve the issues, and reported the good news through the company’s support account on Twitter. Those still experiencing any of these problems are being told to restart the app.Now that that unpleasantness is behind them, players can now focus on catching Mewtwo, who will be available in Raid Battles later today. Previously, the legendary … [Read more...] about Pokemon GO Error 0 Server Issues Resolved
Where Shadows Slumber, a delightful little puzzle game where the interplay of light and shadow is the key to unlocking tricky puzzles, is now available on purchase for iOS according to a tweet from the game’s developer. In Where Shadows Slumber, players move through single-screen levels in their efforts to solve a particular puzzle in the vein of games like Monument Valley. The interplay of light and shadow is a critical element; turning a corner or illuminating a darkened area can reveal a new path for you to go down. It starts off easily enough, but later levels can get particularly challenging (at least for a puzzle amateur like myself). The game is packed with dozens of levels, all of which have a vibrant visual style. It recently went through a pre-order period and released a trailer showing off some of the more dynamic levels: In Where Shadows Slumber, your handy lantern can reveal switches, make platforms appear, and even send you into the past. This fun … [Read more...] about Dive Into The Dark In Where Shadows Slumber, Now Available On iOS
Fortnite‘s long-running purple cube meta event has come to its conclusion. The purple cube, which has been traveling across the Fortnite map since it arrived in late August, has dissolved into Loot Lake. The lake’s surface has now transformed into a gigantic bounce pad, featuring the same digitized look of the purple cube’s sides. For now, it appears that Loot Lake will remain transformed into a giant purple bounce pad on Fortnite‘s live servers. The purple cube itself is entirely gone, and has been dissolved completely. Loot Lake’s transformation, going by Fortnite‘s history, is likely impermanent in the long term and only the latest chapter in an ongoing meta event. What will come next and how soon it will occur is anyone’s guess.Looking toward the future, Fortnite‘s Season 6 is slated to begin sometime soon. Best estimates point towards September 25 as the likely date for the season’s beginning. That means if something big is … [Read more...] about Fortnite Cube Dissolves in Loot Lake, Changes Surface

After PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds became a worldwide phenomenon on PC, smashing various Steam concurrent user records in the process, Microsoft was quick to secure it as a console exclusive for the Xbox One. After spending quite a bit of time in early access, the game that popularized the battle royale genre had its full release earlier this month, but now it seems like it may be making its way over to the Xbox One’s main competitor, the PlayStation 4. A Twitter user by the name of Nibel spotted PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds listed for PlayStation 4, suggesting that an announcement could be right around the corner. If PUBG is in fact making its way to PS4, it will likely skip the early access period (PS4 lacks a comprehensive early access program like on PC and Xbox), or it will be available in early access for a shorter time than its Xbox counterpart, at least. Of course, that’s just speculation at this time, and it’s hard to say … [Read more...] about PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Finally Coming to PS4?
