In From Software’s new game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, players will be challenged at every turn and will need to use every tool possible to defeat enemies big and small. But few tools can beat a little damage upgrade, which all Sekiro players will likely be looking for to increase their attack power. How to Get a Memory for Attack Power Upgrade Like with past From Software games, Sekiro doesn’t make it obvious how to upgrade one’s attack power from the start, but what players will need is a memory. Unfortunately, these memory items only come from defeating a boss, so those holding out hope they can increase their damage to help beat a boss are out of luck. Still, it’s possible to try new areas and find a boss that might be a little easier for you in order to get a memory in Sekiro, upgrade your attack power, and then take on a more challenging foe. Upon beating a boss in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, players will get an item screen that explains they have obtained … [Read more...] about Sekiro: How to Upgrade Attack Power for a Damage Increase
Within an hour after starting From Software’s latest game, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, the main protagonist Wolf will find himself going toe-to-toe with General Genichiro Ashina, who serves as the first boss fight. The battle with Genichiro is a tough one, even for From Software standards, and seems virtually impossible to win. However, it does seem as though it’s technically possible for Sekiro players to beat the Genichiro at the beginning of the game. We were unable to test this ourselves, but apparently if players beat Genichiro in Sekiro, the same cut-scene plays where Wolf is defeated and loses his arm. The game then proceeds as normal, with the player soon gaining the grappling hook arm and starting their adventure proper. Again, we were unable to confirm this ourselves at the time of this writing, but accounts online suggest this is the case. While it seems technically possible to beat Genichiro at the beginning of Sekiro, we don’t recommend … [Read more...] about Sekiro: Can You Beat the First Boss Genichiro Ashina?
The latest From Software game to hit the market, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, is an incredibly tough game. Whether its when attempting to beat Sekiro‘s chained ogre or the lady butterfly, players should expect to die a lot, but one player managed to die by the Sculptor’s Idol at one of the game’s save points. Despite the baseline difficulty of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, it is worth mentioning that those who want an even more difficult experience can enter a type of Sekiro Hard Mode by ringing the Demon Bell. That said, it doesn’t appear difficulty is what led to the death of this player, a Redditor by the name of Morloxx, but an interesting in-game mechanic. As seen below, Morloxx is jumping around the save point and attempts to jump over the Sculptor’s Idol when he is caught in an infinite fall. This is the point in many games where players have to restart due to an infinite fall glitch. However, there appears to be a mechanic in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice … [Read more...] about Sekiro Player Killed by Save Point Sculptor’s Idol
Following the buff that Xur received thanks to the new Season of the Drifter, players actually have things to look forward to when the exotic merchant comes around each week on Friday. The biggest change is that his inventory has expanded to include Forsaken exotics on occasion, something the Destiny 2 community has been waiting to see implemented for quite a while. The other big change arrived last week with the new Invitations of the Nine questline. Every week, for up to nine weeks, players can pick up a quest item in Xur’s inventory which offers some backstory and lore on the mysterious group known as the Nine, while giving players powerful loot to obtain as well once the task has been completed. Seeing as it’s Friday, here’s where Destiny 2 players can find Xur as well as what the merchant has on offer for the weekend of March 22, 2019.Where is Xur? This weekend, Xur has returned to the Winding Cove in the European Dead Zone on Earth. From the director, … [Read more...] about Destiny 2: Xur Exotic Armor, Weapon, and Recommendations for March 22
Destiny 2‘s Iron Banner is getting some new twists in Season 6 thanks to some new consumable items meant for both hardcore and casual players. The first Iron Banner where these buff and debuff items will be available starts on March 26th. Destiny 2 players will find the Iron Burden consumable at Lord Saladin for a cost of 5 Iron Banner tokens. The Iron Burden applies a debuff that will lower a player’s level by 100 Power in the playlist, forcing players to put “more focus on skill, strategy, and gunplay” to compete. Since Iron Banner has level advantages enabled for Destiny 2 Year 2, a 100 Power handicap will lower a player’s damage output and increase their vulnerability. The Iron Burden debuff is worth using because a new Triumph will become available that challenges players to defeat 500 opponents with the it active. Completing that Triumph will award players with a fully Masterworked and curated roll of the Wizened Rebuke, the Iron Banner … [Read more...] about Destiny 2 Iron Banner Introducing New Iron Burden, Wolf’s Favor Items
