When streaming service Google Stadia starts next week it'll only have a dozen games, but they are good ones and more are promised soon after. Google has been trying to make it clear for a while now that Stadia is not the Netflix of gaming . And now they've got the most obvious proof yet: when the service launches it'll only have 12 games. That's much more in-line with a new console launch than it is some sort of library of gaming greats. Even though most of the launch titles are… great. The majority are from last year but the headliner is probably Red Dead Redemption 2, with Mortal Kombat 11 being the most high profile 2019 title. An additional 14 titles are planned for release before the end of the year, which includes a greater number of 2019 titles, including Borderlands 3, Football Manager 2020, Ghost Recon Breakpoint, and Metro Exodus.
