Following the reveal of Injustice 2‘s Legendary Edition, many presumed that the DC Comics-inspired fighting game is now finished receiving post-launch DLC, but that hasn’t stopped fans from clamoring for the title to receive even more characters. As a matter of fact, some fans of the sequel recently asked NetherRealm Studios’ Ed Boon for additional content, which led to the company’s creative director potentially teasing that another Mortal Kombat is on the way instead. As seen in the tweet below from Boon’s official Twitter account, one user simply stated that “it would be cool” if Injustice 2 got a fourth Fighter Pack this year, despite all signs pointing to more expansion materials not being on the way.
